William Kohen, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in primary and revision hip and knee replacement. Dr. Kohen is a graduate of Wayne State University College of Medicine, in Michigan, and an elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his training in Orthopedic Surgery at Wayne State University and served as chief resident. Dr. Kohen is a distinguished fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). He also served as the team doctor for the senior tennis tour.
Dr. Kohen is an expert in hip and knee replacement surgery, hip and knee reconstructive surgery; including hip and knee minimally invasive surgery, hip and knee arthroscopy, and joint replacement of the shoulder, hip, and knee. Dr. Kohen is currently one of just a handful of surgeons in the United States with expertise performing Minimally Invasive “Signature” Custom Fit Knee Replacement and is skilled at using arthroscopic techniques to repair complex hip and knee injuries.
